Delete Your Certly Account
Certly — Electrical Certification App
You can request the deletion of your Certly account and all associated data by following the steps below.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to team@certly.co.uk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your Certly account.
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account and login credentials
- User profile and settings (trading title, registration number, position)
- All certificates and inspection records you created
- Client and property records
- Job records and attachments
- Uploaded images (signatures, logos, observation photographs)
- Generated PDF certificates
- Notification history
- Test instrument configuration
What data may be retained
- QC review records: If you acted as a Quality Control reviewer for another user, your approval signature and name may be retained on their certificates as a regulatory record.
- Crash reports: Anonymised crash data collected by Firebase Crashlytics does not contain personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to your account.
Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any certificates you need (as PDFs via the app) before requesting deletion.
